1. Payment Security & Data Protection
· We prioritize the security of your payment information and fully comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). All payment transactions are processed through encrypted channels (256-bit SSL/TLS encryption) to protect your card details (e.g., credit card number, CVV) from unauthorized access.
· We do NOT store your full payment card information on our servers. Payment data is securely transmitted to our licensed payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) for processing, in compliance with global data protection laws (including the EU GDPR and California CCPA).
· Unauthorized Payment Protection:
  - For EU/EEA users (per PSD2): You are not liable for any unauthorized transactions made through your payment method (e.g., stolen card used without your consent), provided you report the incident to us and your payment provider within 2 business days of discovering it. We will assist in initiating a chargeback and ensure a full refund within 10 business days of confirming the unauthorized transaction.
  - For US users (per EFTA): Your liability for unauthorized electronic fund transfers is capped at $50, provided you report the issue to your bank/payment card issuer within 2 business days. We will provide transaction records to support your claim upon request.
  - For other regions: We follow local payment protection laws; contact our support team for region-specific policies.

2. Supported Payment Methods

· Processing: When you submit an order with a credit/debit card, your card will be pre-authorized for the full order amount to verify funds availability. This authorization will be converted to a charge upon order confirmation and shipment.

· Security: All card transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology and comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

· Validity: You must ensure the card used is issued in your name, has sufficient funds/credit, and is not expired. Failed transactions due to invalid card details, insufficient funds, or fraud prevention measures may result in order cancellation.

· Currency: Charges will be processed in the currency displayed at checkout (typically USD, EUR, or GBP, depending on your location). Your card issuer may apply currency conversion fees; please check with your bank for details.

· Processing: PayPal allows you to pay using your PayPal balance, linked bank account, or credit/debit card. Upon checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal’s secure platform to complete the payment. Orders are confirmed once PayPal authorizes the transaction.

· Refunds: Refunds for Apple Pay purchases go back to the original linked card, typically taking 5–7 business days to process.

 

2.4 About Google Pay

· Processing: Google Pay enables contactless payments via NFC. It encrypts card info in the wallet, with authentication via PIN, fingerprint, or device security features.


· Refunds: Refunds for Google Pay purchases go to the original payment method. Processed by merchants, they typically take 3–7 business days for credit/debit cards, and up to 10 business days for bank accounts to a couple of weeks, depending on your bank.

3. General Payment Terms

· Payment Confirmation: Orders are only confirmed once payment is successfully processed. You will receive an order confirmation email (with a unique order number) upon successful payment. If you do not receive this email within 1 hour, check your spam folder or contact our support team

· Failed Payments: If your payment fails, we will notify you via email with the reason (if available). You may retry payment using the same or an alternative method within 48 hours; otherwise, your order will be automatically canceled (no charges will be incurred). 4. Payment Fees & Currency Conversion
· No Transaction Fees from ZJKC: We do not charge additional fees for credit card, PayPal. However, the following fees may apply (charged by third parties, not ZJKC):
  1. International Transaction Fees: Your bank/credit card issuer may charge 1–3% of the order amount for payments made in a foreign currency (e.g., a US user paying in euros). Check with your bank to confirm applicable fees.
  2. PayPal Cross-Border Fees: For PayPal payments sent from outside the US, PayPal may charge a cross-border fee (typically 0.5–1% of the order amount, plus a fixed fee based on currency). This fee is disclosed by PayPal on the payment confirmation page before you finalize payment.
  3. Currency Conversion Fees:
     - If you pay in a currency other than USD (our default currency), conversion will be handled by your payment provider (e.g., PayPal, credit card issuer) using their daily exchange rate.
     - Example: A €100 order (converted to USD at 1:1.08) will show as $108 at checkout; your bank may charge a 2% conversion fee ($2.16), so your total cost will be $110.16 (disclosed on your bank statement).
· Currency Display: The website shows prices in USD by default. You can select your local currency (e.g., EUR, AUD) using the currency selector in the header—note that this is for reference only; the final charge will be in USD (or your payment provider’s converted currency) at checkout.

5. Payment Confirmation & Order Status
· Order Activation: Your order will be marked as "Paid" and activated only after we receive full payment confirmation from your payment provider (e.g., credit card issuer, PayPal). "Pre-authorized" or "pending" payments do not mean the order is confirmed—we will notify you via email once payment is complete.
· Payment Receipts: A detailed payment receipt (including order number, item details, amount paid, and tax information) will be sent to your registered email within 1 hour of successful payment. You can also download receipts anytime by logging into your ZJKC account (if applicable) > "Order History" > Select the order > "Download Receipt".
· For business customers: If you need a commercial invoice (for tax purposes), contact our support team with your order number and company tax ID—we will issue a PDF invoice within 3-5 business day.

6. Payment Failure & Refunds for Failed Payments

  - If your payment is declined but funds are temporarily held (e.g., pre-authorized by your bank), the hold will be released automatically within 1–3 business days (varies by bank; contact your bank if it exceeds 3 days).
  - If you are charged for a failed order, contact our support team with your order number and bank statement screenshot. We will initiate a refund within 3 business day, and funds will return to your original payment method within 3–7 business days (PayPal: 1–3 days; credit cards: 3–7 days).
