Return & Refund Policy

 

At ZJKC, we aim to keep return processes transparent, including clear guidelines for return shipping fees. Below is our detailed policy, with specific rules for shipping costs applicable to customer-responsible returns.

 

1. Return Eligibility

・30-Day Window: NEW items (accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, unaltered items in original packaging; unsealing for inspection only does not count as "used" / Non- Customer Reasons.

・1-Year Warranty: Manufacturing defects beyond 30 days are covered for repairs/replacements (not refunds).

Exchanges Due to Non-Customer Reasons:If the exchange is required because of issues on our end (e.g., defective products, shipping errors), customers will NOT be charged any exchange fees. We’ll arrange the replacement and cover all related shipping costs.

About Return Time

  - Initiated within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item (we will notify you of the inspection result via email);
  - Completed within 14 business days of initiation, via your original payment method (no store credit will be offered unless you voluntarily choose it).

 

2. Required Documentation

To start a return, email our after-sales team at info@zjkcshop.com with:
· Basic info: Order number, product SKU, and reason for return.
· Proof of purchase (order confirmation, payment receipt) – required for all returns.
· Additional proof (if applicable): 
  - For ZJKC-responsible returns (defective, damaged, wrong item): Photos/videos of the issue (to confirm the error).
  - For customer-responsible returns (change of mind, size preference): No additional proof of issue is needed. 

 

3. Responsibility & Return Shipping Fees

A. ZJKC’s Responsibility (We Cover Shipping)

If the return is due to our error (e.g., defective, damaged, or wrong item shipped), we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label free of charge. No shipping fees apply, regardless of item weight.

B. Customer’s Responsibility (You Cover Shipping)

For returns due to customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, or size/color preferences), return shipping fees will be charged based on the actual logistics cost (calculated by item weight, destination, and selected courier service). 
- Fee transparency: After submitting your return request, we will provide a detailed logistics quote (including carrier name, weight-based fee, and service type) within 3 business days for your confirmation.
- Maximum fee cap: To protect your rights, the return shipping fee for customer-responsible returns will not exceed $50 (or equivalent in local currency) for standard-sized items; oversize items will be quoted separately.

C. Additional Fees for International Returns (Outside the US/EU):
  - If the return is due to ZJKC’s error (e.g., defective, wrong item), customs duties, import taxes, and oversize handling fees will be covered by ZJKC.
  - If the return is due to customer reasons, customs duties, import taxes, and oversize handling fees will be the customer’s responsibility and added to the total shipping cost. 

 

4. Step-by-Step Return Process

4.1. Submit Request: Email info@zjkcshop.com with required documentation.

4.2. Get Confirmation: We’ll reply within 48 hours with:

Approval status.

For customer-responsible returns: Item weight, total shipping fee, and payment options (fee can be deducted from your refund or paid upfront via our secure link).

RMA number and return address  (critical note: Do not use the original shipping label’s address, as this may cause delays or rejection)

 

4.3. Ship the Item:

Use a trackable courier service (we recommend insurance for high-value items, such as those with an order value over USD$500).

Include the RMA number on the package—returns without it will be rejected.

4.4 Process Refund/Exchange:

Once the return is physically received by our warehouse, we guarantee to initiate the refund process within 15 business days. 

 · Refunds (minus return shipping fees, if applicable) are processed to your original payment method:
 · PayPal: 1–3 business days.
 · Credit cards: 7–14 business days (varies slightly by card issuer; we will initiate the refund within 3 business days of inspecting the returned item).

 

5. Non-Returnable Items

· Items outside the 30-day window (unless covered by warranty).
· Used, damaged, or altered items: Defined as "items with functional damage, visible wear (e.g., scratches, stains), or modified parts (e.g., disassembled components) that cannot be restored to original sales condition". Unsealing for inspection only (without affecting product integrity) does not count as "used" and will not invalidate return eligibility.
· Free gifts, personalized products, or final-sale items (final-sale items must be clearly marked on the product detail page before purchase).
